On 7th and 8th of February the second consortium meeting for the EMuRgency project has happened. The partners have discussed the state of the project and each activity leader has presented the work done by the consortium members. In an Aachen Cathedral - space session all partners had the opportunity to discuss ideas and concepts for the activities.

news 01 First approaches towards the setup of a stakeholder-network in the region have been discussed. An integrated PR strategy based on stakeholder needs and different communication channels has been further refinded. The outcome of the meeting are refined tasks and responsibilities in all activities and a more concrete long-term planning for the first project year.

A session about efficient communication in the activity groups and administrative issues has rounded up the meeting.

The project meeting has been organized by the partners from Aachen (ZLW-IMA RWTH Aachen/University Hospital Aachen).

news2 In September and November 2011 two important meetings have happened. On September 5 & 6 the EMuRgency project had its kick-off meeting organized by the Open University of the Netherlands. During the meeting the partners provided a detailed presentation about their expertise, focus in the project and vision. In addition the different activities within the project have been further refined and planned. To "practice what we preach" non-medical experts participated in a short CPR training provided by the partner from the University Hospital in Aachen. Overall, the kick-off has helped all partners to define a common ground, to get to know each other better and to develop a common visiion and concrete workplan for the upcoming months and years.

On November 7 another consortium meeting has happened. This time the focus of the meeting was the administrative and financial management of the EMuRgency meeting. Nadia Thissen from the EMR Stichting has introduced the specifics of the INTERREG IVa programme and consortium members had the opportunity to ask questions.
